I popped in for brunch on St Paddy's day. Nice space easy parking and very nice staff at the bar.
I went for bottomless mimosa which was good value and the bar ladies kept me topped up.
I went for bang bang shrimp which was ok but a bit soggy. I love Chili and they had Prime Rib Chili with cheddar so I went for it. Unfortunately 1 small cube of beef and a bowl full of just beans and a square or processed cheese I assume Kraft. The wonderful staff took it off the bill. I was going to try something else but just wasn't feeling it. Driving home I had to do the last 3 miles at 80 mph as that bang bang shrimp went through me like sh*+ through a goose.

This review is for the Brunch Only!!

We were in Ft. Myers for a wedding this weekend and came by Sunday for brunch before our drive home. Our reservation was for 10:15 AM and were seated immediately as the restaurant was empty. Our group did not order any drinks just coffee and juice.

      The food:
For starters we ordered the tater tots. Not what I expected, but they weren't bad with the sauces provided.

Our meals included the chicken and waffles, omelette, Burntwood burger, and the classic breakfast. Unfortunately, every single dish was bland and flavorless. We were extremely surprised and disappointed.

The service was a little slow despite the fact that the restaurant was empty. Overall Brunch was a no for us. The restaurant decor is cute and the place may be a better lunch and dinner/drinks spot.

It was my first time dining here. I was with my family who said they had eaten here a number of times and it was good. Unfortunately this time is wasn't great. First off, we had called in a reservation, yet when we arrived they didn't have our reservation. Once seated it took forever to get seen by a waiter. He was very nice but you could tell he was very inexperienced. The restaurant wasn't busy so I'm not sure why the service was so slow. The kids absolutely loved the Mac & Cheese. However for many of the adults the food was either over cooked or bland.

Having said that, this is a beautiful restaurant with a warm atmosphere. I so wanted the food to match the ambiance.

Very disappointed that my experience was not good.

Great Angus burger. The bar area has an outside and an inside space. I love the evening outdoor vibe. Grab a drink after work with some snackies. Loved the calamari and the tots.

Dropped in for a quick bite. The service was friendly and helpful. We tried the fish & chips and steak salad. The food was decent. I'll definitely stopped in again.

We came to Burntwood Tavern for happy hour on a Monday before 6. We were seated immediately and greeted quickly. Our server brought our drinks out promptly and took our order right away! 10/10 on service.

We ordered the chicken sliders on the HH menu, the wedge salad, the burntwood burger and sweet potato fries. I don't know what they put in their ranch but I thought it was important to note, it's like crack. I would go back just for the ranch.

I will say my first bite of chicken slider was less than ideal. The first slider was super chewy, tough and barely edible. I'm happy to say each slider got a little better. If the meat would have been more tender, it would have been a game changer. Otherwise the concept was great and they were only $8!

The wedge salad was to die for! 10/10! I didn't love that the sides were $7. It just seemed a little overpriced to have a side be $7. My sweet potato fries were good but not worth it at the end of the day.

Overall, I would come back. I felt like this place had really bad reviews and I'm glad I was willing to give it a chance.

      Hey Hannah,
Thank you so much for the feedback. I am happy to say we have upgraded our chicken. We also make our ranch in house from scratch. We look forward to seeing you again.

Pretty good food. There's no complaints here. I took the suggestions of others and tried the smash burger. It was delicious. I ordered door dash so I couldn't tell you about their service. The fries were still hot when they arrived and were natural cut. I'd order from them again.

How do you have 30 tables open 2 people walk in and ask to be seated and the hostess says sorry all tables are reserved

I guess they don't want any business glad we made a special trip to try the place would not ever think about going back ! Hostess should be fired and if they have a manager he should as well !!
