A 10,000+ square-foot space at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers will be allocated to house the Shipley Cardiothoracic Center - Innovation, Education and Research. The purpose of the Shipley Center is to advance cardiothoracic surgical innovation, education and research. It will be the marquee of the hospital and the major center for advanced cardiac care in Southwest Florida.

Through novel initiatives and partnerships, they will build upon their existing Center of Excellence, bridging various regional entities to create a health care environment that is greater than the sum of its parts.
